Bio

Matthew B. Myers is the Nestlé Professor, head of the Department of Marketing and Logistics, and executive director of the Global Business Institute at the College of Business Administration, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to academia, Myers worked with both Merrill-Lynch and IBM-Argentina; he has studied, taught, and worked in Central America, South America, Europe, Central and East Asia. Myers has acted as a consultant to organizations in the global distribution, chemical, insurance, pharmaceutical, and marketing research industries. He recently served as visiting faculty at both the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and the University of Verona, Italy, and has taught in other locations including Romania, Taiwan, and Uzbekistan. He is the former editor for supply chain and operations research at the Journal of International Business Studies. He can be reached at [email protected].
