Squint named NextGen Supply Chain Conference Start-Up Award winner

Squint, an artificial intelligence mobile app focused on providing relevant and timely information to manufacturing users, has been named the NextGen Supply Chain Conference Start-up Award winner.

This year’s NextGen Supply Chain Conference, presented by Supply Chain Management Review and Peerless Media, will be held on Oct. 21-23 at the Chicago Athletic Association hotel in downtown Chicago. The event starts with an opening reception on the evening of Monday, Oct. 21, at the famous Chicago hotel, with full days of content following Tuesday and Wednesday.

Squint will be honored along with other award winners, including End Users and Solution Providers, and the NextGen Supply Chain Conference’s Visionary Award winner. This year’s Visionary winner is Walmart.

Founded in 2021 by Devin Bhushan, Squint offers a mobile app leveraging artificial intelligence and augmented reality to automate data entry and generate custom procedures. With manufacturing facing an acute labor shortage, Squint allows users to capture historical knowledge, digitize processes and make this information intuitively accessible to all operators.

Squint’s AR solution physically navigates operators step-by-step through any procedure, with interactive elements like AR-based navigation, photo or video tutorials, forms, and digital sticky notes. Users simply point their camera at any machine and the Squint technology will instantly pull up the most relevant procedures and information for the user.

• Speedy documentation and procedure generation: Operators can record a video of the process and Squint will create an AR guide in seconds—saving hundreds of hours.
• Instant answers to any question: Operators can ask Squint Copilot any question about their work, and Squint will instantly provide the answer based on thousands of company documents.
• Instant content creation: Operators can take a video recording of any process and instantly convert it into a step-by-step AR guide in Squint using generative AI.
