Whirlpool has developed a broad $1 billion fulfillment network that includes over 120 warehouses that covers everything from final mile delivery and installation, to reverse logistics and refurbishment. At the same time, it has been looking forward with a future focus on technology and automation.

Helping lead these efforts is Jennifer Springer, senior director of customer fulfillment. Springer will share her insights and Whilpool’s successes and vision during a keynote address at the upcoming NextGen Supply Chain Conference.

This year’s NextGen Supply Chain Conference, presented by Supply Chain Management Review and Peerless Media, will be held on Oct. 21-23 at the Chicago Athletic Association hotel in downtown Chicago. The event starts with an opening reception on the evening of Monday, Oct. 21, at the famous Chicago hotel, with full days of content following Tuesday and Wednesday.

The NextGen Supply Chain Conference’s theme this year is “Digitization is here, what’s next?” More information, including registration information, is available on the NextGen website.

Springer joined Whirlpool in January 2022, joining the appliance firm from Zebra Technologies, where she served as senior director of distribution center operations and logistics. With Zebra, Springer managed a global transportation portfolio of over $250M, built vision and execution for Zebra’s logistics network strategy, and drove overall supply chain innovation through the Zebra4Zebra program. She began her career with Scanwell Logistics as business development and quality control manager.
